Flaming?

No, I'm not the one doing it, nor am I talking about flamers on the Guild. I'm wondering what drives them, and what topics they center their attentions on. From what I've seen, they tend to be rather petty people, like the stereotypical teenage drama queen. I've also noticed that they tend to find topics that are relevant in todays time, such as veganism and religion, that are hot buttons.

What do you guys think?

Hummm....you know, I was recently reading (wow, what a surprise there), and I noticed that some of the characters in a lot of fanfics have pupil-less eyes. Recently, we had a unit on vision in Science, and the pupil is (apparently) the "hole", covered by the cornea, that lets the light pass into the inner eye. Therefore, all of those creatures lacking pupils would be blind, theoretically, but most of them aren't. Open for opinions and debate.

Something I've noticed during my time in the guild is the tradition of joking about being insane, ranging from 'Hahah, I'm nuts' to 'I hear voices and they don't like you!'.

Now, this is a touchy subject for me seeing as I've got a few things in the way of mental disorders, and there's a lot of mental illness in my immediate family. Well recently just accross the street from us there was a large family of rats living in this tree. The home owners cut the tree down. So now we have at least one if not two displaced rats runnin' about our house. We've tried traps but the rat(s) is clever (And rather cute I dare say, though I don't want him in my house). We've tried baiting them with peanutbutter, cheese, and ham to no avail.
Now my dad wants to use sticky paper. Just the thought of it makes me sick. I keep pictureing...

I prefer Widescreen. I use to hate it... but now that's all I purchase. I dont even notice the black lines anymore.

Well the main thing is that it is a science often laughed at and diregarded. Many people doubt that it should even be considered a science. I personally think this is a much debatable topic.

I think that it should be respected as it has found creatures, like Celeocanth(sp?). Besides most of them aren't trying to prove mythical creatures exist, just that there are hidden creatures. Like the Loch ness monster could be a Plesiosaur.
